Mark Mancilla, Boot Camp Coach
Mark Mancilla is a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Weight Loss Expert, Author, and owner of Max Body Fitness. Mark has seen over 200 orange county residents to their health and fitness goals by utilizing his very comprehensive fitness system. He is referred to by many as a 'Fitness Expert' and his rapid emergence as the premier fitness trainer and coach in Huntington Beach.
At one time 70 pounds overweight, Mark brings a uniquely compassionate, 'seize the day' attitude and enthusiasm to everything he does. Mark launched Max Body Fitness in 2007 and is the driving force behind its rapid growth, serving already over 200 clients and customers. Mark is a featured author for the Fitness Expert Network, the Better Body Newsletter and is the co-author of the Ebook, The TRUTH About Weight Loss.

Anna Shaw, Boot Camp Coach
Anna Shaw, a Texas native, knows first hand what it's like to be out of shape, average at sports, and overweight. As a sophomore in high school Anna was determined to find a fun “activity” she'd enjoy that she could routinely stick with, drop those unwanted pounds, and feel confident with her appearance. Shortly after winning a radio promotion for a free 1-year fitness center membership from a local dance studio, Anna successfully lost 53 pounds and discovered that she had a passion for group exercise. Through her own experience, it became her mission to empower others to live happy, healthy, active lifestyles through proper exercise, diet, and emotional balance.
Anna has an Associate of Science Degree from Mountain View College where she studied nutrition and biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from University of North Texas. In addition Anna holds certifications from the world-renowned Cooper Institute in Biomechanics of Resistance training, Functional Training, Physical Fitness Specialist (personal trainer), Coaching Healthy Behaviors, Group Exercise Leadership, Indoor Cycling, Turbo Kick, CPR/AED/First-Aid (responding to emergencies), and NESTA Boot Camp.
Anna currently coaches the 6pm Boot Camp.

_"Before I joined Max Body boot camp I worked out 3 days a week at a gym and walked on the beach for exercise. Although I worked up a sweat, I rarely felt like I was pushing myself. |
__In addition to going half-heartedly to the gym, I also atteded weekly weight watchers meeting for a year and a half. Unfortunately, after the first 20 pounds, I hit a plateau and got frustrated with my weight loss. A friend told me about boot camp and out of desperation, I tried it.
__First, let me tell you it is more than a challenging workout. Mark has a simple nutrition plan that finally makes sense to me and he constantly tracks and cares about my progess.
__Second, it really works! I lost 10 pounds in the first month and have lost a total of almost 20 altogether! I am getting stronger every week and I actually enjoy doing pushups now. :)
__My husband and friends can't believe I get up and work out at 6am 3 times a week. They are proud of what I have accomplished and so am I. I never thought I could do it either, but I am so grateful for Mark and plan to continue boot camp until I reach my goal."

I do much better with a consistent exercise program. I was pleasantly surprised that along with Max Body boot camp, I've gotten education about nutrition and how important it is. Mark is great at explaining how important both exercise and nutrition are. I also really wanted to shake things up and I thought the boot camp would be a great way to do that.
I love being outside. I love the varied workouts. I get bored, so mixing it up with different, fast-paced exercises really keeps me going.
__I like the feeling of being in a group and supporting one another. I also like having a coach/trainer pushing me (in a nice way, of course :) ).
I've lost about ten pounds and 8 inches all around my body. My clothing fits much better. I feel great! I feel energetic and strong. I get complimented a lot about how great I look. That feels really good. Every time I work out I feel like I can do more. Exercises are easier and my body just moves better.
It's fun. It's a supportive environment. Your body gets stronger. You feel great afterward. It's nice to be outdoors in the fresh air. Mark is wonderful! He is very supportive and helpful. It is clear that he wants you to succeed."
